General Services

Can I hire you guys for just a few hours?

Because we feel a wedding is an all day event, all of our packages are full day services. We do not offer partial day services.

Are engagement sessions included as part of your standard photography package?

Engagement Sessions are not a part of our standard Stills Package. They are offered as a discounted add-on or as a separate, stand-alone purchase.

How early will you guys start shooting and how late will you guys shoot into the evening.

Typically our brides and grooms enjoy that we try and capture the day in its entirety as it unfolds. So we like to start with the bride and her girls at the salon or at home, as well as the groom and his boys, as they prepare for the big day.

 We tend to stay at the reception capturing all the big moments. On occasion we will stay till the end to send the newlyweds off in style with the help of their friends and family.

Are you available for multi-day weddings?

How far will you travel for a wedding?

We don't mind covering ground for a client. However, there are many variables for long distance travel, such as lodging, meals, and gas, or airline tickets.  So, please contact us for more information.

Pricing & Financials

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we do require a non-refundable, “Hold the Date" deposit of 25%.

Do I need to have all my money upfront?

We do not require a full payment upfront. We require half of the full balance upfront to cover all production costs. We then have a payment process that begins alongside the post production process. Once your balance is paid in full we will complete your picture edit and deliver your final product you.

Do you offer payment plans?

In essence, our payment process is a payment plan designed for efficiency and to ease stress.

Client Rights & Social Media

What do I own the rights to?

The client will own the rights to final delivered product. Anything watermarked with MJTodd Photography’s name or likeness is copyrighted material and may not be distributed or shared on social media without proper permission(s).

 All "Proofs" are indeed, copyrighted by MJTodd Photography. The customer only holds the "Rights of Use" on the final delivered product(s).

Do I have the rights to post my pictures online?

Yes, once the customer has the final delivered product, they HAVE the right to share it with the world. If that means posting pictures on Face Book or sharing with a loved one through e-mail, yes, the client has the right to do so.
